Baby Ziahin comes home

Baby Ziahin was born on March 20 at 8:24 PM. Due to the timing of his birth (and man-child procedure) Tami and the baby stayed in the hospital for a couple of days. Unfortunately, flu restrictions kept us from bringing the entire gang in to meet the the baby.

(Don’t miss the video at the end of the post)

So, we just used our couple of quiet days to bond with the baby and make him believe that he was an only child.

We enjoyed visits from coworkers and friends who called and came in to congratulate us.

The hospital also offered us a congratulatory meal on our second evening. We shared a fabulous steak dinner with sparkling grape juice and a chocolate cake dessert!

We were finally able to break out of the hospital on Friday, March 22 around 12:30pm

We arrived home to our excited little ones who were under the loving and watchful care of Miss Glenda Buchanan. We were so grateful that she could come and take care of the kids while we brought home the new baby (just as she did when we brought home baby Leighlin).

The little ones took turns saying hello and holding the baby, as did the rest of the family after they arrived from school and college.

Grammy and Grandpa Jan and Jim also came to visit!

We all had a great time taking our turns snuggling with little Z. We shared a meal and a celebration ice cream social held in honor of baby Ziahin’s homecoming.

We want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped us with childcare and carpooling during our baby adventures. We are so grateful for the “Hair Care” team of helpers who were there for us once again.
