“Riely” came to us today

She was 21 In.
And weighed 7lb. 7oz.
We entered the hospital on Tuesday because Tami was showing signs and symptoms of preeclampsia. Tami was closely monitored for one night and then started pitocin in the morning. Dr. Hoversland broke her water at around 12:30 PM. Tami also reached level 20 on the medicine pitocin which helped contractions to become stronger, however, at about 5:15 PM we found that Riehlin had turned from the head down position and was now breach. Our Dr. briefly considered turning the baby but in the end we all decided it best to bring her into the world via C-section. This was our first C-section 11 pregnancies. Definitely a new experience for us. We now have a deeper empathy and sympathy for all moms who have delivered either way.
Anyway, we finally have our prize and we are very happy and blessed!
Thanks to everyone for all support and prayer for us. We are grateful to God for blessing us and entrusting us with such an amazing gift. We are anticipating another arrival tomorrow afternoon… The arrival of the other 10 kids as they come and meet their new baby sister for the first time!
