Todd and Tami have nurtured the love of music in their home. The whole family enjoys playing, singing and performing together. When Todd was in high school he and his brother formed the infamous Christian Rock band, Surrendered Heart. Todd was often the front man for the group and also played keyboards. He has been a singer and songwriter since that time. Tami’s musical history includes playing the flute in her high school’s concert and marching bands. As a teenager she also had her own business as a piano teacher.
Todd and Tami have been in pastoral ministry for 20 years serving in both mid and mega sized churches. Throughout all that time, they have performed in many drama’s, family shows, and lead many worship events. Their four oldest daughters currently lead worship for their youth group at First Assembly Community Ministries and have even lead worship for our congregation.
The Hair Kids have been invited to sing with State Honor Choirs and have competed in district and state solo and ensemble contests as well. Beyond this, they participate in school choirs and musicals.
