Since we sold our BIG van we are defiantly not going to be going anywhere for Spring Break. So, we thought we’d come up with a few “staycation” ideas for our kids. One of the fun things we decided to do is a little family-fun social experiment we’ve called “Where My Peeps At!?” Here’s the idea…
We went out and purchased 3 Easter baskets. In them we placed a Easter Story coloring book, a package of peeps, and eggs that contain puzzle pieces. Each basket also contained special instructions (see below) and a challenge to pass the peeps basket to another family within 24 hours. Irelin, Brealin and I (Todd) had a great night together as we started our fun baskets out in three different neighborhoods in our city. We are excited to see where our peeps go from there!
Below are the instructions we gave inside our “Where my peeps at!?” baskets.
Instructions:
1.) First, enjoy the yummy Peeps while you read the coloring book and put together the puzzle with your children!
2.) Choose a page or two from the coloring book to color and sign your family name to it.
3.) Take a picture of your family and your beautiful coloring page. Next, to help us track where our peeps are at, log onto facebook and “like” the Todd Tami & Family page. Then post your family photo on our page! If you enjoy using hashtags on facebook and twitter you can use #ttfpeeps
4.) Finally, put everything back into the basket; purchase another package of Peeps while you are driving to find one of your peeps who you want to pass along the basket to. Be sure to include this letter inside the basket so the next family will know what to do!
We challenge you to please pass the Peeps along within 24 hours!
